PERBEDAAN KERAGAMAN KONSUMSI PANGAN REMAJA DI KOTA YOGYAKARTA SAAT HARI SEKOLAH DAN HARI LIBUR

Abstract


Latar belakang: Perubahan aktivitas keseharian seperti tidak bekerja dan tidak sekolah saat hari libur berdampak pada perubahan pola konsumsi. Banyak literatur menyebutkan kualitas konsumsi saat hari libur lebih rendah dibandingkan hari sekolah, ditandai dengan asupan lemak lebih tinggi. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui perbedaan keragaman konsumsi pangan antara hari sekolah dan hari libur. Metode :  Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 61 siswa di 2 SMP dan SMA di Kota Yogyakarta. Data keragaman diperoleh dari wawancara konsumsi pangan dengan metode food recall 2x24 jam yang dilaksanakan pada 1 hari sekolah dan 1 hari libur. Keragaman dinilai dengan mengelompokkan pangan menjadi 9 kelompok berdasarkan panduan dari FAO (2010) tentang penilaian individual dietary diversity score (IDDS). Hasil: Lebih dari 50% responden tidak mengonsumsi buah dan sayur jenis apapun baik pada hari sekolah maupun hari libur. Kelompok bahan pangan sayuran hijau; buah dan sayur kaya vitamin A; daging, ayam dan ikan; dan olahan susu lebih banyak dikonsumsi pada hari sekolah dan berbeda signifikan jika dibandingkan dengan hari libur (p<0,05). Sementara itu, kelompok bahan pangan yang lain tidak berbeda signifikan (p>0,05). Keragaman konsumsi pangan juga lebih baik saat hari sekolah dibandingkan hari libur (p<0,05). Kesimpulan: Keragaman konsumsi pangan lebih baik saat hari sekolah dibandingkan hari libur. Perlu adanya upaya yang focus pada perubahan perilaku konsumsi pangan saat hari libur.
