PERBANDINGAN PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN METODE AUDIOVISUAL DAN SIMULASI TERHADAP KETRAMPILAN SISWA MELAKUKAN PERTOLONGAN PERTAMA KORBAN PINGSAN

Abstract


Latar Belakang : Pingsan merupakan salah satu kedaruratan yang sering terjadi di masyarakat. Pertolongan yang tepat akan mampu mengatasi masalah dan mencegah akibat lanjutan dari pingsan. Kemampuan masyarakat melakukan pertolongan terhadap kejadian pingsan masih terbatas, sehingga perlu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan siswa melakukan pertolongan pertama pada korban pingsan setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan metode audiovisual dan simulasi. Metode: penelitian ini merupakan Quasi Experiment Desain dengan rancangan Non-Equivalent Control Group. Jumlah responden 30 siswa pengambilan sampel dengan cara Kuota sampling. Analisis data menunggunakan Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test dan Mann- Whitney Test. Hasil: uji Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Tes pada metode audiovisual 0,000 (p<0,05) dan pada metode simulasi 0,001 (p<0,05). Hasil uji Mann-Whitney Test penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keterampilan siswa yang diberikan pendidikan kesehatan metode audiovisual dan simulasi dengan p=0,004 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan : Metode simulasi dan audiovisual sama-sama dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan, namun pendidikan Kesehatan metode simulasi lebih baik dibandingkan metode audiovisual dalam meningkatkan ketrampilan pertolongan pertama pada korban pingsan.
