USIA, STADIUM DAN VITAMIN A DENGAN KADAR GLUTATHIONE (GSH) PADA PASIEN KANKER PAYUDARA

Abstract


Latar belakang: Kanker  merupakan  salah  satu  penyebab  kematian  utama  di  dunia. Kanker payudara  meningkatan  stres oksidatif  sehingga dapat memicu kerusakan jaringan  dan dapat dicegah oleh senyawa  yang  bersifat  antioksidan.  GSH  merupakan  antioksidan endogen yang dapat menetralkan  dan juga mencegah kerusakan akibat stres oksidatif. Penyebab radikal bebas diantaranya usia dan stadium.  Vitamin A merupakan  antioksidan  eksogen  yang  dapat menghambat radikal bebas dan memutuskan reaksi rantai radikal. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis  hubungan  usia, stadium, dan vitamin A  dengan  kadar  GSH  pada  pasien kanker payudara. Metode: Jenis  penelitian  adalah  observasional  analitik  dengan  desain  cross  sectional. Teknik  sampling  menggunakan  konsekutif  sampling.  Subjek  penelitian  sebanyak  39 orang  pasien  kanker  payudara  rawat  jalan  di  RSUD  Dr  Moewardi  Surakarta  yang mendapatkan  kemoterapi.  Penelitian  dilakukan  dengan  teknik  wawancara  (food  recall dan  FFQ),  pengukuran  kadar  GSH  dengan  ELISA  kit.  Analisis  data  menggunakan korelasi Spearman. Hasil: Subjek penelitian memiliki usia 32-57 tahun dengan stadium kanker II dan III, memiliki rerata asupan vitamin A  (412,3±52,75 µg) dan  kadar  GSH  (7,10±6,56  ng/ml). Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan usia dan asupan vitamin A dengan kadar GSH pada pasien kanker payudara.
