PENGARUH EDUKASI METODE DRILL TENTANG CHECK UP KAKI DIABETES TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN KETERAMPILAN PADA CAREGIVER

Abstract


Latar belakang: Salah satu komplikasi DM adalah Luka Kaki Diabetes (LKD). Check up kaki diabetes berupa pemeriksaan Ipswich Touch Test (IpTT) dan nadi dorsalis pedis & nadi posterior tibialis merupakan pencegahan terjadinya resiko LKD. Pemberian edukasi pada caregiver adalah salah satu tindakan keperawatan promotif dan preventif. Edukasi berbasis metode drill merupakan edukasi yang memakai bimbingan dan latihan efisien dengan melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan latihan praktik dan dilakukan berulangkali untuk mendapatkan keterampilan praktis tentang pengetahuan yang dipelajari. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi berbasis metode drill pada caregiver sebagai upaya deteksi dini luka kaki diabetes. Metode :  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental: One group pretest-posttest design dengan teknik pengambilan data Quota Sampling sebanyak 20 responden. Hasil: Adanya pengaruh edukasi metode metode drill tentang check up kaki diabetes terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada caregiver dengan p - value = 0,000 (<0,05)  Kesimpulan: Edukasi metode drill tentang check up kaki diabetes memiliki pengaruh terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan keterempilan pada caregiver.
