PENGARUH KONDISI LOWER BACK PAIN (LBP) TERHADAP MULTI DIRECTIONAL REACH TEST (MDRT) SCORE
Abstract
Latar belakang: Low Back Pain (LBP) merupakan kondisi dan permasalahan Kesehatan yang umum terjadi dan menjadikan beban yang cukup besar di dunia. Nyeri pada kondisi ini akan dirasakan di daerah punggung bawah, dapat merupakan nyeri lokal, maupun nyeri radikuler atau keduanya. Nyeri yang berasal dari punggung bawah dapat berujuk kedaerah lain atau sebaliknya yang berasal dari daerah lain dirasakan di daerah punggung bawah. Keluhan LBP dapat menimbulkan penurunan fleksibilitas pada vertebra akibat dari gangguan musculoskeletal yang ditimbulkan hingga gangguan fungsional. Penurunan fleksibilitas tersebut dapat dilihat dari Multi Directional Reach Test (MDRT) Score. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kondisi Lower Back Pain (LBP) terhadap Multi Directional Reach Test (MDRT) Score. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental dengan pre dan post test design. Pengambilan sample dilakukan dengan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 40 responden. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini adalah berkorelasi positif antara kondisi Lower Back Pain (LBP) terhadap hasil MDRT pada individu dengan diagnose Lower Back Pain (LBP) dengan p<0.001. Kesimpulan: Kondisi Lower Back Pain (LBP) dapat menurunkan fleksibiltas lumbal.
